Brew Bar is a coffee shop in Staten Island, New York. It is listed at 3965 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10308, which places it among the local businesses of Staten Island that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Staten Island, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across New York, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Brew Bar at (718) 227-1862; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is app.brewbarcoffeeco.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 265 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Staten Island and suggests consistent service.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely terrible experience. The Nutella cheesecake was one of the worst desserts I’ve ever had. It had a weird, dense, glue-like texture. It honestly tasted like it was made from paste rather than cheesecake. The macarons were disappointing, and the rest of the desserts were just as bad. Nothing tasted fresh or worth the price. The service was no better. The new baristas were unfriendly, and looked annoyed to be there. No smiles, no welcoming attitude, no customer service. Even the dessert boxes were thrown together carelessly. This place has seriously gone downhill. Overpriced desserts, poor quality, and unpleasant staff. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Fast service and nice, helpful staff. Mediocre coffee, and stale overpriced pastry options. They go heavy on the ice and foam, low on the coffee. Ordered a 20oz Brown Shaken Espresso, 30% was foam, 30% ice. Only 8oz of actual coffee. Very corporate, soulless design. Feels like a Starbucks knockoff with less options but competative pricing. If you want something to drink or see it along the way, not the worst option in the world, but do not come here if you expect freshly ground and brewed coffee, or fresh pastries.

The drinks taste good, but they were heavy with ice and not enough flavor. I ordered a medium iced coffee black with liquid sugar, a large shaken espresso with whole milk, a medium iced matcha latte with whole milk and cane syrup. The hard working staff were good, friendly, and professional. My drinks were ready between a minute or two after I ordered. This should be the gold standard for mid lev iced coffee drinks considering there were no customers behind me. Exceeded my expectations. The interior is very clean and very spacious. There are plush leather seats and booths for extra privacy. All the music that was played through the cafe speakers was good. I wanna come back with friends to try the other menu options.

Brew Bar is one of those hidden gems that makes you want to stay a little longer every time you visit. Tucked away in Great Kills, it has the perfect mix of cozy and modern, making it a great spot to meet up with friends, get some work done, or just unwind with a good book. The vibe inside is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere that never feels rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your time without feeling like you need to grab your drink and go. The staff is super friendly, always welcoming and attentive without being overbearing, which adds to the whole experience. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making Brew Bar more than just another coffee shopβ€”it feels like a community spot where people genuinely love to gather. Whether you’re there for a quick break or a long, leisurely stay, it’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back.

Our new favorite coffee spot in SI! Coffees, whether basic blends or specialty drinks, are delicious (try a specialty drink though, they're stand-out with unique flavor combinations and fun & tasty toppings). Atmosphere is awesome with plenty of spaces for solo/co-working, or just hanging out, plus great music. Service is really friendly and efficient. They also offer a good selection of desserts (vegan too!) and sandwiches. Super excited for the future of this place .. definitely will be regulars here!
